Thursday, June 5th at 10:00 in the Parlor
Come to help plan the October general meeting
so we can make it as successful as the one last year on Human Trafficking.  This year we are focusing on Children and  Mothers.

Thursday, June 19th
We are taking a trip to the Lucille Rains Residences in Indianapolis for a tour and lunch.  There is a sign up sheet at the welcome table between services or email me at umwvalpofumc@gmail.com
the cost is $5.00
Lucille Raines Residence is a facility owned and operated by United Methodist Women of Indiana.  Many of the men and women, who are residents are actively engaged in rebuilding their lives from substance abuse.  They all share in learning to function independently and as whole people in life.  Many find Christ to be the source of successful recovery.

The Shop is fully stocked with all you summer needs and weekly specials are being offered.  As always, your donations are needed and appreciated.

What are the United Methodist Women of Valparaiso up to?

Judy Bornstein and Kathy Thompson were nominated to receive the Kiwanis volunteer of the year.
Judy was nominated by the VNA and Kathy by the UMW.
A luncheon held on Wednesday May 28th, Judy was awarded Volunteer of the Year.  You can find photos of the lunch at Valpo Life.
